If you’re a Cards fan we don’t need to tell you about the Happy Flight phenomena, but we can certainly show you how we’re celebrating it at Delta in St. Louis!
In my job as an ACS (Airport Customer Service) Performance Leader in STL, I work with other agents to ensure you move smoothly from curbside to planeside. So why am I writing this blog? Among my team, I’m known as “the Cardinals guy.” And well, I took my vacation to coincide with the World Series, so I could focus all my energies on cheering for the Cards! So you can only imagine how excited I am about seeing all of the action here at Delta.
The Cardinals have, without doubt, the best fans in all of baseball…and for good reason. It’s easy to support a team that is made up of individuals with not only the highest level of talent but also the highest level of character. They are smart, focused, and maybe most importantly, they themselves are true fans of the game! As a long time Delta employee, I can see why we’re proud sponsor of their organization, and I’m glad we could help make you part of the CARDINAL NATION.

I think this is awesome that Delta has so much involvement in the cardinals. Way to go!

Calm down Matthew. I am a Platinum Medallion member but think you have gone way overboard with this blog. Who gives you the sole power to say the Cardinals have the best fans? Unfortunately, and this will prove out in the end, the Texas Rangers players, management, and fans are of much higher class, intergity, ethics than any Cardinal fan or player. And the outcome of the World series will prove that the Rangers are a more talented team than the old geasers in St Louis. GO RANGERS!!!!

This is such a great story! I had no idea Delta loved the Cardinals, too.
My Grandmother passed away in August and she was the biggest Cardinals fan I knew. She got a Cardinals logo tattoo on her ankle when she was 82 and we asked everyone to wear their favorite Cardinals attire to her funeral and visitation, and about 75% of the attendees did. I had to travel to San Francisco for work last week (and flew on Delta, of course) and thought about how excited she would be to see the Cardinals in the World Series again. I like to think that she knows what is going on and is an angel in the outfield.
