Last month, our audio partner, DMI Music & Media Networks, traveled down to Austin, TX for the annual SXSW (South by Southwest) music festival. SXSW is one of the largest music festivals in the United States, with more than 2,000 performers playing in more than 90 venues around downtown Austin over four days, in March.
Along with sampling the local BBQ, DMI interviewed many great artists such as Suzanne Vega, Sum 41, Matt Pond, Diane Birch, Dawes, Peter Wolf Crier and more to secure exclusive entertainment content for Delta’s broadcast channels.
You’ll be able to hear the exclusive artist interviews plus their music on Delta beginning in July/Aug. Check Sky magazine’s Tunes playlists for details. And let us know what you think!

I’ve been frustrated in my quest to find the playlists Delta uses for the boarding process. I saw a posting that someone found their loaction but the only one i can find dates back to Oct’09. Anything current that’s being published? If not Why? I recently heard a song that I can’t identify and I’m getting obsessed. I’m sure there are a few others out there like me.

I was in the same situation and found that all songs/artists are listed in the in-flight magazine. They even have a seperate section for music played during the boarding process.
