Why not remove the paint and save the weight for fuel conservation.

I'm guessing this post isn't being monitored anymore...but what's the name of the font in the new Delta logo? Love it! It looks similar to the font used by President Obama's campaign last year (which is Gotham, I think).

Apart from the repaint work from NWA to DL, are there pictures of the revisions to the interiors? I'm particularly interested in the 747-400 (International) Business Elite.

This is awesome! But to add to Jinal's list, don't forget the 757-26D! You have one of them, remember? =P And if I recall correctly, you have a few non--332(ER?) 767s; I think they're from Gulf Air. Maybe just write those codes in parentheses or something? I mean, there's only one 757-26D.
Oh, and at least include the CR1-- you have so many of them!
Way to go! :)

rmagon99...it takes 5-10 days to paint a plane depending on the size of the aircraft.

Paints are not integrated with other maintenance due to EPA requirements and close-up requirements (i.e. painting an aircraft requires all the doors to be sealed making accomplishing maintenance impossible during the strip and paint of an aircraft).

Chris- what is the approx time interval required to paint the average aircraft and is the paint schedule integrated with other planned maintenance work for a given ship?
