Under the rules of our Delta’s Jeter/Wright Batting Challenge, the player who ends the season with the highest batting average (based on a minimum 400 at bats) wins $100,000 for his charity. Delta is the official airline sponsor of both New York ballclubs.
Learn more about Derek Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation and David Wright’s David Wright Foundation at our previous post here.
Who’s charity will you be cheering for post-All Star break?

Maybe we should add Frenchy to the lineup too now that he’s a Met!

Hi Annika & Katie,
In the comments section of a blog post about a year ago Brian Rutter or one of the other NYC Delta bloggers had noted that since Delta was now the official airline of the Mets and Yankees that there might be some special events for Platinum NYC members where they might be able to check out the Delta clubs at one of the stadiums. I’m a SkyMiles Plat NYC member and I haven’t heard anything about this. Is there any update?
Thanks! Adam
