You may have noticed the latest addition to our domestic lunch/dinner menu on flights of approximately 3.5 hours or more this month: Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Ice Cream is now available onboard during July and September!
Our flight attendants will be offering both Vanilla or Cherry Garcia (rate your favorite here) flavors for $2 during lunch/dinner, which is from 9:46am – 8:00pm, on select flights.
What is your favorite flavor of Ben & Jerry’s?

HWGeek, the ice cream is available as part our EATS menu, which provides food for sale items in the Economy cabin, but First Class passengers are always welcome to purchase products from the EATS menu as well. Hope this helps!

Great add on- now will you go Coke or Pepsi?

YAY, I have a flight from JFK to SFO and I’ll be sure to buy some
In fact tell the FA’s for flight 717 on the 20th to have enough icecream for me in 3A.

I love the EATS menu! Especially the bagel… goes great with ice cream!

Rather surprised that first class passengers would be charged for items off the EATS menu. Surely they would receive EATS items at no charge!
Otherwise, the EATS menu is great. I have no reservation about purchasing items off the menu. Love that pea orzo selection!
Any idea if you will vary the Ben & Jerry choices over the summer? How about three or four options? That way things are varied a bit.
Another idea is considering a modified EATS menu of sorts for international customers in addition to the complementary meals. I am flying to ZRH in September and would love B&J on the ride. Of course, having B&J as a complementary item on a TATL or TPAC flight even in Y would be even better (not to mention a good-will builder)!

Why only July and September, and not August? I’m flying in August and I’d like ice cream.

Coke or Pepsi? There is no question regarding the relationship between two HUGE companies headquartered in Atlanta. Delta’s relationship with Coca-Cola runs deep, my friend.

I think this would be a great permeant addition to the EATS menu!

Ooohhh I’ll have some Cherry Garcia on #164 JFK to DUB!

I agree with bshap! Why not ice cream in August…when I am flying and I LOVE all flavors of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream! I even traveled north to their plant some years ago and sampled all the free ice cream I could want! Thanks Delta for a good idea!

Please add Ben and Jerry’s to all but the shortest flights, 12 months a year, and include butter pecan and chocolate with nuts choices. Thank you.
