Did you see this morning’s USA TODAY article about our Red Coats program? “The scarlet-jacketed (elite) agents returned to New York’s JFK airport last summer and made their debut this month at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson. By summer’s end, 600 agents will be walking the concourses and gate areas of 14 airports, including LAX, Orlando and Washington’s Reagan National…” more…
Our Red Coat agents are selected and trained with exceptional technical and customer service skills to provide on-the-spot resolution of customer issues. You can spot the Red Coat team from their red coats or buttons to identify agents’ special roles on their uniforms. Atlanta alone has an 135-member Red Coat team that’s been in place since the beginning of this month.
Have you spotted a Red Coat in your airport yet? Hope you’ll say hello and give them a smile when you do!

Wonderful! I can read the airport codes just fine, but the red coats can often answer questions quickly and the red coat hearkens back to the day when Delta led the way with regal customer service. Kudos, Delta.

This is a good thing. To often I have asked questions and been directed to the phone bank near the gate. I often go to the Sky Clubs for help, but they are not always available. I think Delta should concentrate on getting Red Coats to those locations first. Looking forward to seeing them at all airports!
