As a nw employee soon to be a delta retiree, I remember when we had ife on the 320-200 a/cs ships 3201-3250. then we received the 3251-3275 series and the 3101 319s ships and they didn't have any ife. The 747s belonged to Northwest until the merger, so they only recently became Delta property. And I know many people don't understand this, but it takes more than an executive signing a piece of paper to put AVOD into an aircraft - it involves scheduling the aircraft out of service and doing an extensive, expensive, overhaul of the aircraft's interior. I fully expect that in a few years we will see AVOD on all of Delta's widebody aircraft and most, if not all, of the 757s.
