Late arriving to this blog but I'll echo the words of Scott. I've been at Northwest for almost 20 years and although a part of me is sad to say goodbye to the Redtails, I couldn't be happier to join such an incredible company as Delta. We're past the initial growing pains and if the public could only see all the work that has gone on behind the scenes, they would be impressed with the professionalism and camaraderie already evident between these two great working groups. It is my humble opinion this merger will become the benchmark by which all future mergers are compared.

While its always good to see people happy with where they work, I am wondering why the NW employee's are really only making a big deal about how they get new uniforms... seeing how FA's and Airport people were getting new uniforms at NW anyway?

The title of this thread has significant meaning. Trying to bring together two large companies and their work force as one T E A M is nothing short of creating a miracle.

It has always been my opinion that Delta has a special place in the hearts of many passengers but even moreso to it's employees. Now is the time to show others around the world the newly crafted Delta. By mixing the Southern-style charm with Minnesota-nice and you will find a combination that can not be found by any other airline in America, today.

So, to the Staff of the blended organizations: Please stay positive, lookout for each other and BE PROUD and show the world over that being hospitable is the cornerstone principles of Founder, Mr. C. E. Woolman.

P.S. Sorry if my message sounds like "memory lane" but I felt it on my heart to pass along my thoughts.

NOW, ROCK ON !!
