Through this Sunday on our U.S. flights, look for flight attendants wearing their Delta and Northwest Airlines uniforms from past years as we commemorate our combined history.

Retro Uniform Week is leading up to the March 30th premiere of our Richard Tyler-designed uniforms of all our flight attendants as well as airport lounge representatives, gate and ticketing agents worldwide.
Learn more in this recent Wall Street Journal article, and go to YouTube to visit one of our final uniform fit clinics in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Have any of you noticed our vintage uniforms this week?

This example of Vintage uniform week is a fine example of blending two wonderful work groups into one at the new Delta. What a great photo.
In my eyes, viewing a person in full uniform portrays a sense of confidence or a look of authority just as Military personnel looks when they’re dressed in full uniform.

Neat idea! I’m just curious, could you go through all the uniforms in the picture, saying what airline and what year?

This idea is great. It would be fun if DL could make this a regular event, almost like a “Heritage Week” paying homage to the many airlines and dedicated employees whose dedication has paved the way for the Delta we know today.
