Thanks for the update! Just a few questions. Unless I am way off, I believe NW has 310 aircraft (including the 742) flying right now. What 47 aircraft will not be painted?
I have also noticed that it seems the regional aircraft are not being repainted at the moment. Is the painting schedule for the regional jets up to the carrier or are they on a schedule that fits with the end of 2012?
Thanks for the update, love the new scheme!

Hi Greta,
The NWA fleet count is at 311, right now. Is the fleet total of 247 the number of NWA a/c still in service at YE2010??
Thanks, Chris

Cool. Keep them coming! The 747s and A330s from NWA look great. Although the DELTA on the side could be a bit bigger on the 747s – it looks a little dwarfed in comparison. It is almost like they are the same physical dimensions.

Will the 747-200s be repainted? While I would love to see them in DL colors, I don’t think that it would be very cost-effective. Maybe make them retro-jets, as they essentially already are
@ Andy… I spoke with a DL flight attendant a while back when the 747 and A330 title horror first appeared. I asked if they were just using a one-size-fits-all template, and he said they were. Greta (or anyone in the know), is this really the case? Smart way to save money, but just doesn’t look that great.

i wish DL would do a retro-747 in the best livery every the 70’s widjet………and I agree the “DELTA” is way to small on the 747-4s and also the new colors under certain lighting don’t contrast enough. It seems like it’s a dark blue tail……..the red angled widjet isn’t bright enough I think.
