My husband and I are traveling this weekend and I was curious how this works with multiple passengers and only one compatible phone. His phone is very basic and incapable of downloading the barcode. I, on the other hand have the Blackberry Curve. Will I have to download and save two barcodes, or is this even an option for us, etc.. All responses are greatly appreciated.

Finally getting the opportunity to try it on my Blackberry Storm. I am on a two flight trip. The first flight came to my phone, but the second did not.
Anyone had this problem or know the solution?
Thanks.

I tried this on 24 Jun 09 at the ALT airport with my BlackBerry Curve and it was a breeze! The TSA agent knew exactly what to do and everyone around me oogled and ahh'd with wide eyes wondering "what is that, what is she doing"?

The only problem was trying to accessing MobileDelta again when I was at the gate. The web site was experiencing "technical difficulties" so I could not log back on to resign in and get the boarding pass again. I had to stand in line to have the gate agent print me a paper boarding pass.

I would like to see Delta place a button on the page that will allow users to send a pdf file to our email address. Then users can just pull up the pdf via email to check in at the gate, or Delta Club Room.

I have started a new cabin attendants blog here in Brazil. The title is America's Wings and it is designed to help those pilots and attendants who need to learn English for international and aviation communication. I am currently teaching at a flying School.

The Portuguese-language blog URL is http://asasdaamerica.blogspot.com

I am 61 years old now and I was an airline cabin attendant when I was young.

My blog featured Delta's New Safety Video for a week (last week) and I posted some background information on Katherine Lee to acquaint my readers.

I am now featuring Gailen David, who is America's Number One Sky Steward, with his Jetiquette lessons.

I'll be featuring Delta from time to time.

Drop by some time and see the featued videos there.

Tried it on my Verizon Blackberry Pearl. The text looks great, however, the bar code symbol didn't display so it is useless as a boarding pass. I am sure it is a problem with either Verizon or with my Blackberry configuration but I would welcome any ideas.

I used mobile checkin on my Blackjack II yesterday on a flight from ATL to ONT. Unlike MaxxMan my TSA agent knew what to do. He even told me to make sure my backlight was a full brightness when the first scan did not take. I also printed a paper backup boarding pass but never had to take it out of my wallet.

My phone boarding pass also got me in the crown room and on the plane with no issues.

The one downside to using a phone boarding pass is it downloads to your browser and there is no way to save it outside the browser. If you want to browse the Internet once you check in you will probably lose your electronic pass. Once I got on the plane I tried to open it again and could not. Delta should change this and let you re-download your boarding pass until the flight status changes to “in flight”.

My flight actually had a mechanical problem which was fixed. However if we had to switch planes I would have been screwed without my backup paper pass.
