When I came across this thread on FlyerTalk entitled,”When is Delta going to add the upgrade list to their online system?”, the functionality to view the upgrade standby list on delta.com was already moving into our pre-production environment for final testing.
Two weeks later, I am proud to share that the ability to view the Upgrade & Standby List has arrived on the full version of our website. This functionality is expected to be available on the mobile version of the website shortly.
When viewing your itinerary for a specific reservation you will now notice the following changes as long as you are within the 24 hour window of your flight departing:
- If you have an Upgrade Status of “Requested” you will see a link to “View Upgrade List” below the Requested text
- If you have a Flight Segment Status of “Standby” you will see a link to “View Standby List” below the Standby text
When you are checking in online you will see a link to “View Upgrade List” in a few different places:
- On the page where you select the passengers to check-in or reprint boarding pass you will see the “View Upgrade List” link if your upgrade request status is “Requested” or “Standby Listed”
- On the confirmation page where you print your boarding passes you will see the link in a couple of places, both before you print the boarding passes and after you print the boarding passes (screen shots below)
Just as with the nwa.com Upgrade & Standby List functionality, you can only view the Upgrade & Standby for your reservations and only passengers in your reservation will appear on the Upgrade & Standby list (provided that they have requested an upgrade or flying standby with you).

It is very impressive to see a company as large as Delta able to implement something like this so rapidly. Well done. Hopefully this will remain a work in progress with minor updates over time. How hard is it to clone the Delta gate display upgrade screen? Thanks again!

Its a shame that they are not able to match the CO PDA site when it comes to how usefull the Upgrade list can be. The CO site lets you view it 3 days out, the list of all those upgraded as well as seat location. Maybe DL can match that in a few years.
