For all you airplane fanatics out there…feast your eyes on this bad boy I caught at MCO last week. Delta’s ship 6803 is one of 17 757-200s configured for long haul domestic and transoceanic flights.

Chris, I’m lovin’ this photo. It brings pure aviation-joy to my heart. I can envision many thoughts from looking at this photo. Just look at how the tips of the wings pull back only to cast an awesome shadow against the aft. Can anybody else feel the warmth from the Florida sunshine glistening over this domestic workhorse, the B-757-200 (ETOPS/ER)

Beautiful picture.
But have you ever been to Europe on one of those? I took a flight from JFK – Brussels recently on one and for that long of a flight, it gets a bit claustrophobic compared to the 767…

Those winglets sure look great. It’s amazing how much they improve the look of any aircraft. I had the privilege of flying BusinessElite on one of these 757-200ERs from Atlanta to Jacksonville a couple months back. What a fantastic seat – I just wish I was able to take this plane on the first leg of my flight, a redeye from Los Angeles. Any chance we see these making that trip any time soon?

HWGeek: Chances are if you take Delta flights 4 (the JFK-MCO segment) or 1 (the MCO-JFK segment), you’ll be on the 757-200 ETOPS. Enjoy your flight!

I wonder when Wi-Fi will show up to Long hauls…Also what delta needs to do is charge one flat fee for all mobile devices with the passenger such as a blackberry, laptop, ipod etc.
