I’ve always been a fan of Delta and believe it’s one of the better airlines out there (especially in comparison with United and U.S. Airways). I’m still a little curious as to how this merger will affect the great deals I receive from both Delta and Northwest Airlines in terms of perks and pricing, but I still give my kudos to this merger.

As a New Delta employee let me say it’s really nice to be welcomed by all the Delta people who have been so kind since this all started to happen a few months ago.
As for a sample of the route maps, NW has a tool similar to Delta’s interactive route map on its NWA Worldtraveler website: http://www.nwaworldtraveler.com/ME2/Default.asp
The actual onboard magazine also has an impressive route map with the Delta/NW routes but also contains all NW partner routes (CO, AS, KL, etc). Check it out!

With all respect, whenever I’ve used Delta’s site I’ve often found myself ‘rolling my eyes’ or ‘sighing’ in frustration at the Delta site’s relative lack of ‘seamless elegance’ (sorry for cheesy description, but fits!) when compared to NWA’s site – - sites if you also count NWA’s great mobile site! I’m fine with any changes except that website. Anyone agree? Anyone have news about plan?
