Hey Carson even though you play for the Bengals I guess I can share with you two of my favorites in New York.

My favorite place (also Howard Stern's favorite, I think this is where his wedding was) is the Beacon http://www.beaconnyc.com/ the food is great and it has that New York feel. You will need to make reservations for this place. The lamb and pork dishes are always a great choice.

If you want someplace more casual with still great food and atmosphere there is a great place near the NYU campus called Spice. It seems like they have gone corporate since I was last there (their website is http://www.spicethainyc.com/spice/ ) but the food was great. It also appears that they have expanded and have a couple of locations but there is a cool vibe to the University location. I always ordered something new and everything I got there was great.

As for Jacksonville I sure hope you aren't planning on going there November 2nd since that is a home game for you guys and you better destroy them!

When you come to Indy on December 6-7 I got a place that you are your brother will love. It is by far my most favorite restaurant in the United States. I took my brother here when he visited and he loved it. It called L'explorateur and their website is http://www.dinelex.com/ I highly recommend sitting at the bar, you get to see many of the cold dishes prepared in front of you and get to interact with the chef and owner Niel Brown.

Hope this helps and good luck with the rest of your games, except when you come to Indianapolis, I hope you loose then.

If you're looking for Italian check out Gene's, their site is http://www.genesnyc.com/. It's a great value and is definitely some of the best Italian food in the city. If you go and have time it's a decent walk or short cab ride up to City Bakery for their killer Hot Chocolate, might be just the right temperature this weekend. http://thecitybakery.com/index2.htm

If you're looking for something pretty nice try Picholine near Columbus Circle. Their website is http://www.picholinenyc.com/, if you go sit in Sarah's section. My wife and I were visiting the city a couple of weeks ago and had never been there and Sarah was awesome!

Your on your own for Jacksonville - the only time I was there I ordered Dominos to my hotel room.

Have Fun - Safe Travels - Fight On!
