HWGeek, thank you for your feedback! I know that our IFE team shares your concern about the reliability of our seatback entertainment and is working to fix bugs in the system. If you have the information, would you let us know the flight number, date, and seats in which the problems occurred by emailing entertainment@delta.com? We'd appreciate your help in reporting any future issue so that we can improve your experience during your next Delta flight. Thanks again!

I have a hard time imagining life without some kind of automated flight check-in, whether it be kiosk, internet, or my new favorite...via PDA. I'm a flickr fan too.

Delta's AVOD. We flew to Puerto Rico in March, the first time I'd ever worked with Delta's system. I'm spoiled now! I recently saw Delta's bringing 757s back to CMH (thanks Delta!), so my family & I will get even more chances to play with the entertainment system! It's fun to have, even on an hour-long flight.

Another favorite of mine is the in-flight Airshow map. It's interesting to see the info & it helps make a long flight shorter when you know where you are & how much time is left until you're on the ground again.

Flightmemory's good, too. I've made a map of my own: http://my.flightmemory.com/JSprague24

I didn't read anything that was written there. That's because I stared at the first-ever picture of the cabin of your new 73G!
It looks great!
(Now that I've read it, I totally agree with you. =)

My favorites are the kiosk, Nintendo DS and Flightmemory.com. The kiosk because it makes check-in super fast.

Flightmemory.com is a fun way to track the flights I have flown. In addition to a map, it gives fun stats.

My favorite travel innovation is the TV's in front of the seat. To bad on 4 of my last 5 flights they didn't work correctly :(

Sometimes rebooting the system 5 or 6 times to try an fix a problem for 2 or 3 people messes up the system for everyone else. Experienced that twice already.

But I do love having my notebook and some dvd's with me. Although I do not like noise cancelation headphones, something about hearing the engines humming makes me feel safe.
