The first two of our brand new Boeing 737-700s were delivered to Delta this past weekend!
The 737-700 will fly our new route between Atlanta and the Honduras capital of Tegucigalpa starting December 18th, and until then they will go into service on mostly domestic routes starting this month. Check out these links to see a picture and to learn more about our new plane orders.
The new planes have 124 comfy new slim line seats that feature more personal space, additional under-seat storage and ergonomically designed cushions. Find yourself flying on one of our new planes? Rate your seat at SeatGuru here!

I must admit, those are two cool birds! It’s nice to see them in Delta paint!

To bad my flight out of JFK next week isn’t on this plane.

The 73G’s look amazing! I can’t wait to fly on one
Now I’m just wondering… why is there a picture of a 767-300? I know it’s in the new colors and everything, but still why not a truly “new” plane? (or give us something rare, like a shot of one (of the few?) MD88s in the new c/s

Curious are the new plans going to have wi-fi in them?

Geoffrey, great request! I will see what I can do. In the interim, click here to see the delta.com seatmap interior.
HWGeek, you must have seen our Wi-Fi announcement this morning. More to come on this tomorrow - stay tuned!

Katie: Do you want images from the internet (e.g. http://www.airliners.net)? I can get you a ton of those; there are albums there with just the new livery. Or my own personal photos? I haven’t taken any (YET), but I am always on the lookout whenever I have my camera with me.

kingFriday013, Great question! Any image you own the rights to (more than likely from personal photos, as airliners.net has copyright constraints that I can not post) is fair game. Keep that camera handy!!
Geoffrey, finally received some interior pictures and have uploaded to our Flickr account! See a cockpit shot here and interior shots here. Enjoy!
