It’s summer, and when I am traveling on those long, hot days, a margarita sure would hit the spot! Luckily for me, starting this month, Delta is now featuring Herradura tequila onboard!
Today Tequila Herradura, one of the oldest and most storied tequila brands since 1870, announced its partnership with Delta Air Lines to offer the signature Herradura Silver Margarita to passengers traveling on all Delta flights worldwide.
Recently, my coworker Jonathan and I visited Mexico City, and had several occasions to try some tasty Tequila Herradura in its native land, sometimes in margaritas, and sometimes on its own. Also while we were there, we visited a local silver shop, Alameda park, the Pyramids at Teotihuacan, the Zocalo, and the Palacio de Bellas Artes. And of course, we stopped into the bars at the Hotel Maria Cristina and at the top of the Torre Latinoamericana for refreshing breaks (read: tequila) from sightseeing.
We’ve captured all this and more on our travel guide. Take a look!
Mexico City is a fun place with lots of great food to taste and sights to see. Of course, there are also beverages to imbibe! And when you go, now you can give your taste buds a little tequila practice before you land.

For those of you wondering, the margaritas aren’t pre-mixed, so you can get a non-alcoholic version if you would like!
