It's so nice and calm there! The weather cannot get any better and the waves are surely a hit. The shopping is awesome and landing right in the San Diego Downtown district is pretty cool. Since this is a Delta blog I will note the approach / landing to SAN on runway 27 is my absolute favorite (Second to DCA runway 19). You fly right next to the buildings downtown and get a nice view of the bay and Coronado Island Bridge. Also the Air and Space museum in Balboa Park is right under the approach path to runway 27 and is a nice place to watch the planes coming in. I'll add I really enjoy the Gaslamp District at night. So much great food and wonderful nightlife!! Just watching this makes me want to book a weekend trip to SAN :o) San Diego is one of my favorite US cities!!
