Sky Club? Crown Room Club was so distinguished. It had brand legacy. It actually gave the customer a sense of how they were to be treated. Big mistake. I am sorry to see the name go.

Good day all. I am a newbie here. I have a quick question regarding Business lounge or Crown Club Room entry privileges. I will be flying out of JFK to ANU (antigua) and will be flying business class. My question is, will I be able to access any of the lounges at JFK. Also, which terminal (2 or 3) do I need to go to.

So buy buying with Continental, you get the Crown Room Club, WorldClub, Presidents Club, and Board Room, just the same as buying a Crown Room? Hmmmmm . . .

Now while the second comment is objective, I’ve not been too impressed by CO’s munchies when I’ve used them before.

Buying a CRC membership makes no sense. Buy a Presidents Club membership and you can use Crown, WorldClub, AND the Alaska Board Room (which at Sea-Tac in particular is AWESOME).

And since the Presidents Club is far better anyway–more and better snacks, for instance–it just makes sense.

sks – if you are a CRC member (as opposed to using an AMEX card for access) you can request a T-Mobile card from a CRC agent for free. It gives you 24 hours of access. Next visit ask for another one.

I would like to see free WiFi access in Crown Rooms, World Clubs have it. In the old days of dial-up communication Crown Rooms provided free phone lines, a wireless router is surely cheaper than dozens of wired phone lines. Putting greens, massager chairs and free alcohol I can do without.

Disappointed to hear you are closing the RDU club for 6 months during the move to terminal 2. Somehow another airline managed to get their club built and are opening it when T2 opens 10/26/08. As a frequent flier from RDU and loyal DL Plat I am left thinking this may be the time to start thinking about alternatives.

I hope you treat the folks from the “old” RDU CRC well until you open the new club as these folks were great and I looked forward to starting my day in the air with them despite the issues with such a small CRC.

As someone who flys 4 planes a week I’ve come to rely on CR as an “island of calm” in the sea of chaos that is ATL Terminal A.

I was floored at the decision to pull top shelf brands and replace them with crap. Crowne Royal? Gone! Tanqueray Gin? Gone! Replaces with Seagrums? Please! Its more offensive to the saavy of frequent business travelers.

Several years ago DL wanted to charge CR members for cocktails. The uproar from the FF community put that down. But with today’s cost cutting measures I found myself going to buy a drink at Chilis and get the brand I like.

Here’s a suggestion: If you have to keep the drinks free then use the cheap stuff. But keep the top shelf stuff and charge a couple of bucks for it. I’m willing to pay.

Again, an agreement, as a Seattle based many year platinum member who recently renewed I feel my membership has been devalued by at least half. Are you listening Delta??? What are you going to do for your best customers?? Why not a fuel surcharge for all instead of penalizing a few!
