JereNYC - I agree with you + find Heathrow a little easier to get to the city as well. It does feel a bit like a mall to me though... :)

We have a $199 fare right now from JFK to LHR if you're interested in traveling during the next month. Check out <a href="http://www.delta.com/planning_reservations/deals_offers/fare_sales/new_york_flights/index.jsp" rel="nofollow">this link</a>.

Although Gatwick is a lovely airport and I really have no complaints about it per se, Heathrow is still preferable because it's on the Underground system and much cheaper to get to and from than Gatwick and the other airports.

Glad Delta is now serving LHR...now let's see some affordable fares, so we can actually use the service.

Skymiler - Good feedback, thanks!

We have enabled predictive text for Awards, but haven't added co-terminal search functionality yet. Your request has been submitted and noted.

Since I never fly to London to stay in London, LHR is better as it offers more flexible connections.

"The next time you visit delta.com try searching for code LON. Starting today, these new three letter destination codes will help make booking in multi-airport cities, such as London, a breeze."

You're a little late on that one Delta.
In addition, it would be nice if one could do the same when booking an award ticket.
