"Price guarantee" is simply a scam from Delta marketing department. How can you found a cheaper fare from third party websites when they use the same Delta reservation system? Even if you found a cheaper one, why did you book at Delta.com? People always search for cheapest ticket price from multiple travel websites before booking. Delta should gaurantee the price at Delta.com till before departuring date.

Here's another example of promotion of a "guarantee" without the fine print of your terms and conditions (or even a mention/link). Like many others, I've been disappointed to learn the guarantee is only for day of ticket purchase (can Walmart or Target get away with that kind of guarantee?). Slick marketing can't be tolerated when it comes to customer satisfaction or legal obligations related to guarantees. I expect the BBB will be clamping down on this soon. Let 'em know!

DOUBLE MQMs...that's an awesome incentive to use delta.com. What about those of us who are unable to use delta.com for original bookings because of corporate travel policy? Any chance of getting MQMs for booking cars or hotels on the site?

I am seeing a lot of great improvements. Online chat is fantastic! Please continue to your efforts during the merger.

Anyone else tried to use the Best Flight Guarantee to receive the $100 travel voucher? Two days after I booked a flight from Atlanta to Orlando, the fare on delta.com was 13.5% lower than what I booked on delta.com!

I filled out the form, asked to refund the difference, and hoped to receive the voucher. I was told that the Best Flight Guarantee was only available if you found the lower fare on a 3rd party website by midnight the day you originally booked the fare.

Now it doesn't take a Platinum SkyMiles Member (which I am) to figure out that this is a smoke and mirrors policy. Delta's fares are set for the day and in order for a 3rd party website to sell them at a lower price during that same day, they would be selling them at a loss. When Delta's own website offered a significantly lower fare less than 48 hours later - they would not follow up on their "Best Fare Guarantee".

I'm wondering how many times in the past few weeks since the program was launched that Delta's actually paid a customer out on their Best Flight Guarantee. My guess is zero. Maybe the AJC will be able to find out....

Why is the CHANGE ITINERARY feature so hit and miss. Rarely do I click on this feature and not get a "Sorry, you must call Delta" message. If I understand other posts on the internet, this has something to do with system schedule changes to a record which seem to occur weekly.

Is there not a way to fix the system so the CHANGE feature is more consistanly available?

Another reason I have been told on the phone that my record could not be changed was the SUFFIX in my last name. This is also a continuing problem for many features at www.delta.com. It is also frequently a problem with front-line staff who tell me they cannot find my record until I point out that my last name has "iii" added to the end. Why is this so difficult to fix?
