Good news...booking Delta flights on your PDA will be available as early as next week. We have run into a couple of items that we wanted to tweak before launch. This option will only be available to SkyMiles customers who have chosen to store their information in their profile, i.e. credit card number, etc. You will not be able to specify a specific seat in the mobile application, but will be assigned an aisle or window based on your stored preference. We are still working through some details with the TSA regarding mobile check-in, but hope to have those worked out very soon. I appreciate the input regarding the text-based seat plan. There is actually a way to locate Crown Rooms, although not easy. You can click on the city code when checking flight status...we need to make it easier.

A tool for locating Crown Rooms would be great.
I also like noleld's suggestion for a text-based seat plan.

Delta is a technology leader among all airlines. I am professional software developer and can really appreciate delta.com. Best airline site I've ever seen.

Keep up good work. My Blackberry 8830 has mobile.delta.com bookmark.

My sincerest apologies but I have been out of the country at a conference. And, as such, I have neglected this space.

Regarding the url for delta.com on a mobile device...it is in fact delta.com, the same as on a computer. That was by design...you might be able to get there from mobile.delta.com, but that is because we have a redirect on that url...so in essence a little bit unnecessary.

We are still working through some glitches regarding the iPhone, since, in theory it behaves more like a computer and less like a mobile device. This has been handed off to developers to work on.

I like the seat maps, crown rooms and weather suggestions and we are looking into that as well.

Regarding MQMS, you do see those when buying a ticket, but I think the issue is to determine what markets reward what amount of MQMs before purchase. I will need to look into that.

Please (as above) help for us Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphone users.
A WM5 version of the downloadable schedule would be wonderful.
Thanks!

I was recently delayed arriving in Cincinnati and found not only my connecting flight status but several other folks' flights on my crackberry. That was fun because I made a friend to share the long wait with for our next flights.

Is there any thought to making available where our luggage is? We get a barcode sticker, and we could type it in ourselves, but it sure would be nice to know where the luggage is when we are waiting over an hour in Seattle for the luggage to come out.

A seat map showing available seats and a way to choose one. It doesn't have to be graphical. It could be text based.
