Check this out y’all. We received so many requests from flight attendants and customers about how they want the names of songs that we play on-board (for boarding music).
So we decided to create our own iMix on iTunes. Now you all can download the individual songs for 99 cents or get the whole collection if you want!
Just go to iTunes; click on music; click on iMix. In the search box put in “delta tunes” and select “iMix name” in the drop down box. Enjoy!
Here is the August list:

I think it would be cool if after landing and during the taxi to the gate, Delta’s international flights played a song from the country traveled to. It would serve as a fun welcome and introduction to the foreign country.

Ok so I totally love the new music that you guys use for boarding. I think that it makes the mood on board happy and it gives the airline this “cool fun” look and people find it something special. I totally loved song and the music that you guys used on those planes was a little better. I would say bring back some of the cool songsl like Give It away, and there was another but I forget its name..

Do different segments of Delta have different boarding music? I was on the Shuttle on 12/30 and heard a song that I have been going nuts looking for, but it isn’t on the iTunes iMix…

Why can’t I bring-up any of the listings of the iTunes? I’ve followed the step-by-step instructions listed above. I’ve even clicked on the sample of “Delta Tunes - August 2007″ and nothing happens.

[...] So. Delta. An American airline, playing a non-variety of pop-country music while you board. And, according to the seat-back magazine, you can download the very playlists they heroically craft from the iTunes Music Store. Just search for ‘delta tunes’ on the iMix page. Seriously. [...]
